Virgin Media - Pet in a box!

Overview

Commisioned by multi-award winning marketing agency RAPP, we were asked to produce an award entry video for Cannes Festival of Creativity, held in June, 2013. The project the video is based on, revolves around the promotion of Virgin Media's new smartphone and tablet application called 'Virgin Tv Anywhere'. The lucky participants received a vibranting pet carrier with a fully loaded iPad inside, ready to spring into life and on the lap of their new owner.

BT Chinese Whisper

Overview

Winning the BT One pitch against six other agencies for our Chinese Whisper concept was quite rewarding, as was working with the team again at BT Global Services. The timescale was extremely tight and so had a great deal to organise in just one week before the scheduled shoot. Unfortunately a torrential rain weather forecast kept many people away from the town centre but our whisperers waited patiently and the shoot went ahead as planned!

Receiving over 4000 views in its first week on youtube it's already hitting targets and expect many more views in the coming weeks.

Fresh Photo House

Overview

The guys over at Fresh Photo House had recently started a new venture and wanted to showcase their photography skills as well as giving them a position in this developing marketplace. We created the new brand style, along with the different logo types. The website is build with a friendly Content Management System for the guys to easily update their content themselves.

Sweet Trees website

Overview

Started in 2010, 'Sweet Tree by Rivera' (formely The Chocolate Tree Company) was created out of the need to save money for the owner's own wedding. Christine and her tree surgeon husband came up with the Sweet Tree idea to decorate the tables at the reception dinner. After such an amazing response from the guests, the company was born. Just a year later they are now selling in Waitrose, Harrods and have appeared on ITV's 'This Morning and E4's 'Made in Chelsea' along with 'This is London' magazine and various wedding publications. Due to their success, we were asked to produce a new e-commerce site including a content management system, to replace their current and very limited site, as well as a new brand and guidelines.

Dulux Painter Club

Overview

We were asked by our good friends over at RAPP to create a video for another monstrous sized screen of 30 metres wide by 10 metres high. This mean't that we were working in an almost 4k equivalent resoltion, which only the biggest budget films work with. This did create some difficulties due to the timescale but used all our machines networked together to help speed up the rendering times.

Great little characters helped make our job of animating that much easier, along with dedicated project managers staying up late with us to finish the job on time.

Philips Healthy Start

Overview

Philips Healthy Start is a lifestyle video to promote the health benefits of the new Philips Food Purifier. Philips say;

Food safety, particularly in relation to the use of pesticides in agriculture, is becoming an increasingly important topic for consumers and governments, especially in growth markets. Philips is developing a breakthrough innovation to clean away pesticides from fresh fruit and vegetables easily, effectively, and without using any chemical additives.

The video was created to coincide with Philips' rebranding launch.

Skype Amsterdam Conference 2011

We were brought in by RAPP to help with the logistics around the new Skype website and the video production involved with the creative treatment. RAPP are currently working with Skype to develop their marketing strategies for their new subscription services. The new website uses over a hundred clips of video filmed on green screen which we had to create and supply in various different lengths to correspond to the choices the user selects.

Overview

The guys at Design Arrival felt their old website lacked their cutting edge design principals. We were referred through another client of ours as they were having problems with an agency they had originally commissioned. Our client suggested we could help create a more contemporary design and incorporate consistency with the new branding, without having the problems they were having with the current designers.

Dominos d-tube logo sting

After our awarding winning (see Related Links) e-learning site for Dominos' d-tube, we produced an animated ident to give the d-tube brand some further assets to use for social media sites. This was also added to the already very successful d-tube site to help create more of a fun feel about the course.

Barclays Wealth Website

Overview

One part of Barclays investment arm; Barclays Wealth required a new website to fit with the change to their brand guidelines. Through some in-depth analysis we managed to get brand sign-off without any amends or adjustments, which is generally unheard of. Working with their internal team we handed over the backend development of the site, after creating the main templates.

Overview

Sony's participation in the gaming events; E3 (in LA) and Games.com (Berlin) are always considered the largest and most anticipated events in the gaming world. Working with the production company Design Arrival we had to produce the artwork for the entire sets, including 3 x 20 metre continuous wall graphics, seating vinyls, floor vinyls, stage graphics... the list goes on and on. The E3 Sony stage also made an appearance on 'The Gadget Show' in May 2011.

Overview

Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond were in London promoting Top Gear Live, in a typical no-expense-spared fashion, driving a tank over Tower Bridge. We just had to cover the event and interview Mr Clarkson to get some much needed viral action!

Dominos d-tube

Working with the head of HR in Dominos head office we were asked how we could improve upon their e-learning course for Dominos managers. After a couple of focus group sessions we decided upon a video portal with real scenarios in a 'how not to do it' principle named D-Tube. The videos we produced were combined with a variety of quiz and question/answer interactive elements to keep the user involved. This data was then captured so that HR could then use it to analyse the success rates of the registered managers.

In late 2011 D-Tube was awarded the e-learning programme of the year 2011 by the Training Journal (TJ). The TJ awards are viewed as the most prestigious in the learning and development industry and recognise companies who provide effective and efficient training for their employees. Beating off stiff competition from the likes of the BBC, Aviva and HSBC, Domino’s was presented the e-learning award for its D-Tube programme.

RAPP Re-brand Launch

RAPP Marketing agency asked us to produce a short film for the launch of their new brand at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith. Some of the team were asked for short snipets based around a theme within their job position. This was then shown to the whole company of over 200 employess, much to the embarassment of those involved!

Susie Clegg approached us after a client suggested she view our work. We immediately knew what she'd be looking for after receiving a short brief and shortly after came up with a couple of designs. She also needed a simple way to update her images so we created the portfolio section with a simple content management element.

Race of Champions Logo Sting

Before promoting the massive 2009 event at Wembley stadium, the guys at Race of Champions decided they needed a rebrand, so with partners Tiza Creative, who did the website, we created a new ident and bumper for both the Race of Champions and Nations Cup. These would appear on the stadiums screen, on television coverage, dvds and the website.

BBC World Service Interactive CD

Overview

The BBC wanted a promotional media pack to coincide with the launch of the new BBC World Service website that could be given out at media and promo related events. We supplied a finished animation, along with other assets on a ROMcard; as business card sized CD that could be played in a computer or CD player providing either a animation on the former or audio piece on the later. We also produced many other ROMcards for other companies including Channel 4 and Philips.

Golden Ticket Opera Promotion

Overview

The Golden Ticket is an opera of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Music Link International were promoting the opera around europe in the hope of getting into some major venues to stage their production which had been a hit in their homeland of America. With endorsements from Sir Simon Rattle and working in collaboration with Gerald Scarfe who created the script writing for us they continue to have much success.

Ketchum Pitch for TATA Group

Overview

Ketchum PR asked us the day before a big pitch to produce a 16 page document to help them win this new and very prestigeous account with the TATA Group. After a very long day we managed to get the final prints over to the client before they left for the big meeting. Needless to say they won the pitch!
